Depending on where you go and how you drive, Lightyear One is able to reach a range of up to 725 kilometres with a fully charged battery. These motors ensure power goes directly where it is used and working together with smart controls ensure no energy is wasted. Using state of the art-materials and replacing heavy components with efficient alternatives, Lightyear One enters a lightweight cycle: making one part of the car lighter allows us to make the rest of the car lighter as well. A smaller battery, efficient in-wheel motors and carbon fiber all ensure a greater range with lower energy use. Continuous charging Reduced weight Continuous charging The optimised aerodynamics and design mean that a fully-charged battery has a range of up to 725, more than you need to go from Amsterdam to Paris. The integrated solar cells of the 5m2 hood and roof mean that Lightyear One charges up to 12km/h as it goes. The already superior range continues to extend with every hour of sunlight.
